Lemon Garlic Asparagus

Lemon Garlic Asparagus* Ingredients: 1 bunch asparagus washed and 2 tablespoons R1 approved oil** minced garlic or cloves to taste lemon juice to taste lemon peel salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste Directions: 1)Break off woody ends of asparagus 2) place in pan for roasting 3) Drizzle oil over 4) sprinkle minced garlic or garlic cloves to your taste on top 5) shake lemon peel on 6) salt and pepper to taste 7) Roast at 400 15-20 min or till desired tenderness. 8) Drizzle w lemon juice to taste Notes: 1) I use 1-2T oil depending on how many servings I want for an R1 meal. If I am eating ALL The asparagus in one meal, it's just 1T of oil. BBQ Sauce (R1 Approved)

I've actually been making my own bbq sauce for years. The OG recipe can be found here on this blog even ;) all the way from 2010, ha. But I tweaked it to make it R1 Compliant for my Restoration Wellness plan. This actually makes a LOT so I usually half it (Half of this recipe fills almost 2 Primal Kitchen Ketchup bottles, for reference lol) JEN'S BBQ Sauce (R1 Version) 2C Primal Kitchen ketchup 2C Great Value Organic tomato sauce (or use whatever, just needs to be on plan, no sugar etc) 1 1/4C brown sugar truvia or stevia (I do NOT use this much, start with less esp with stevia bc certain ones have more of an aftertaste. I did about 3/4C of it, 1/4C stevia and 1/2C truvia brown sugar) 1 1/4C apple cider vinegar 2T ON PLAN OIL (I Used Plant based ghee which is avocado/coconut blend) 1/2t garlic powder 1/4t chili powder 1t paprika 1/4t ground cinnamon 1/2t cayenne pepper 1t salt 1t fresh ground black pepper ***you could add some liquid smoke ~1T if you like a smo...

Creamy Balsamic Chicken and Brussel Sprouts

Another new dinner recipe tonight. Did onions instead of mushrooms. So freaking good and easy to stay on the Restoration Wellness plan 💯💪🏽 Creamy Balsamic Chicken and Brussel Sprouts* 1 Serving Ingredients 5 oz cooked shredded chicken 1/2 C brussel sprouts 1/2 C baby bella mushrooms (I did onions) 1 T primal kitchen mayo 1 T balsamic vinegar 1/4 t Italian seasoning 1/8 t garlic powder 1/4 t kosher salt or to taste fresh ground pepper Instructions In a medium sized frying pan, saute your brussel sprouts (halved) on medium heat for about 5 minutes. Add in your mushrooms (quartered) or onions and cook for about another 4-5 minutes unitl mushrooms are cooked through. Add in your cooked shredded chicken and toss until hot. Take off the heat. In a small bowl, whisk together your mayo, vinegar, and the rest of the seasonings until smooth. Pour out over chicken mixture and toss to coat everything. Sugar Free Caramel Recipe

Trying to make an iced metabolic coffee that works w my Restoration Wellness plan and I came up w this sugar free caramel recipe that Is pretty amazing for my first try!!! (Counts as a fat instead of trying to get oil into iced coffee plain 😣) If you know me you know I’m gonna figure out a way to drink good coffee no matter what I’m doing lol Sugar Free Caramel Recipe https://joyfilledeats.com/sugar-free-caramel-sauce/ But I made it compliant for my plan so coconut milk and plant based ghee and not a whole cup of stevia, just to taste.

Sesame Chicken Recipe (R1)

Dinner tonight was insane!! Thought I had sesame seeds but didn’t. Still amazing anyway. Restoration Wellness makes losing weight delishhhhh Sesame Chicken* Makes 2 R1 Servings Ingredients Chicken: 10oz chicken thighs or breasts cut into small pieces 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar 1/2 tbso braggs amino 1 tsp approved oil or spray Sesame Sauce: 2 tbsp chopped ginger (I used ground ginger or ginger paste) 2 cloves garlic finely chopped (I used minced garlic) Stevia to taste 3 tbsp liquid aminos 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar 2 tbsp tomato paste 1 cup chicken stock 1/2 tsp chili flakes 2 tbsp avocado oil or approved oil 2 tbsp sesame seeds 2 tbsp chopped scallions Directions In a bowl whisk together the aminos, baking soda and apple cider vinegar and then add in the chunks of chicken and stir to ensure that they are all well coated in the liquid. Spicy Beef Wraps Recipe

This recipe is from Restoration Wellness and one of my FAVES already. I also like I can make it for 3 days! Original recipe with my notes added for my preferences. R1 Compliant Spicy Beef Wraps Ingredients 15 oz. ground beef (makes 3 servings) • 1 tbsp. Bragg Liquid Aminos • 1 tbsp. ginger, peel* • 2 garlic cloves • 1 tsp. black pepper • 1 tsp. pink salt • 2 tbsp. cilantro leaves • 4 iceberg lettuce leaves • 3 tbsp. grapeseed or avocado oil 1. Brown meat in skillet with the oil. Once cooked, add Bragg. 2. Place garlic and ginger into food processor. Pulse until desired consistency. 3. Add the pepper and pink salt when meat is cooked. 4. Add remaining ingredients (from food processor) 5. Cook for another 3 minutes or so to blend the ingredients. 6. Turn off heat and remove from stove, add the cilantro. Mix to combine. 7.
